Hello HD,
Welcome to the Bacularis user group.
That sounds like a very nice project in school. Sure, we will help you
with pleasure.
For start I would propose to look at this YouTube playlist called
"Bacula for Everybody!":
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QVpxCbNYiCs&list=PLNv5fsFzPPNpqG1alq3QVH_C8FZKVNGMY
You already have Bacula and Bacularis so please skip the first two
movies. Next three videos are something that can be useful in this
case because there is shown adding the Bacula storage (in your project
it is something like the destination directory), creating and running
backup job and at the end running restore.
Please note that Bacula stores data not in the original files form but
it stores data on volumes in Bacula format.
Source directory you will be able to set in the Bacula Director
configuration part in the Fileset settings. This directory will be
backed up from the selected in job Bacula client.
In case questions, please let us know.
Best regards,
Marcin Haba (gani)
