I want to upgrade Bacularis from version 4.0.0 to the latest 4.0.4.

I am trying to do this following the instructions in the manual at https://bacularis.app/doc/brief/updating.html - Composer project update, but it is still at 4.0.0.

Hello Robert,

Could you try to run this command in the Bacularis project directory
and show us the result?

composer outdated

I think you should be able to update the Composer project to 4.4.0.
This latest version is displayed correctly in the Packagist
repository:

https://packagist.org/packages/bacularis/bacularis-app

Hello Robert,

This Composer update instruction is for case if you installed Bacularis by Composer as well:

https://bacularis.app/doc/brief/installation.html#install-using-composer

Then the project directory is the main directory with bacularis-app project files.

Hello Robert,

In these individual free repositories are available packages for the major releases like this 4.0.0. The next major release will be 5.0.0. Packages for major and minor releases are available in the subscription repositories. This 4.4.0 is a minor release. More details about packages you can find in the bacularis.com service or directly in the user panel.

If you want to use the latest 4.4.0 you can also use other installation methods like:

 - install by PHP Composer
 - install by Docker container
 - manual installation

Install instructions for all the three methods you can find in the Bacularis documentation.

Thanks for the help, the manual installation was successful according to the instructions. I managed to install version 4.4.0.

I tried a few times using Composer, but I always encountered some problem. Despite several attempts, I was unable to do it according to the instructions. My system is Ubuntu 24.04.
