Hello,

I recently performed a restore job using the Restore Wizard.

I selected:

  • Backup from client.
  • Group most recent backups.

However, the fileset drop-down appears to be listing every possible fileset on the Director, rather than just those filesets that would be applicable/relevant to the client.

I have version 2.4.0 installed.

This looks to be a bug, I think.

Regards,

Vaughan

Hello Vaughan,

Many thanks for reporting this problem. Yes, you are right, the full
fileset list is redundant. I don't know why, but I have seen this
combobox hundreds of times but I haven't figured out so far that it
could be better and simpler :-)

At the moment I prepared a change that filters filesets for only those
used by selected job. It will be a nice improvement.

Thanks again :-) I will let know here when it will be ready. For now I
need to do tests that I am planning soon.

Best regards,
