OK, the PC downloader for Backwoods Logger is ready! I submitted an initial version to the SVN repository if anyone wants to try it out. What do you guys think? What else does it need? Feel free to dig into the SVN repo and start coding-- I don't want this to be a one-man show.

There are two parts:

blsync.exe - A PC program that connects to the Backwoods Logger and syncs graphs and snapshots. Currently Windows only. Anyone want to work on porting this to Mac or Windows? It's pretty simple, just two source files. Here's the usage info:
Usage: blsync -p port [-b speed] [-v] [-c] [-r] [-g filename] [-s filename]

-p port       Port to use for Logger communication, such as COM1.

-b speed      Bit rate for communication. Default is 38400.

-v            Display the Logger firmware version number.

-c            Save files in CSV format. This is the default.

-r            Save files in raw binary format instead of CSV.

-g filename   Sync the graph data, and save it to the named file.

-s filename   Sync the snapshot data, and save it to the named file.
blsync adapter - A hardware converter that plugs into the Logger's ISP port, and has a 6-pin connector for a USB-serial cable. You can easily build your own blsync adapter from some 0.1" header and a MOSFET. I'll also be making up some blsync adapter boards, in case anyone wants one. I got all fancy and added transmit and receive LEDs:

Here's a quick graph I made in Excel, showing temperature and pressure over a 40 hour period at my home:
