Backwoods Logger release 1.0.1 has been submitted to the Subversion repository, and is also available as a zip archive from http://code.google.com/p/backwoods-logger/downloads/detail?name=backwoods-logger-1.0.1.zip

Beginning with this release, versions will be named using a standard 1.0.0-style format, instead of a 10-digit number encoding the date.

New in this version:
- Metric or Imperial units option
- New Backwoods Logger logo on the lock screen
- Lots of program size optimizations. There's now about 3K free space.
- Totally rewritten I2C driver for sensor communication. No longer freezes the UI if the sensor doesn't respond.

Excellent, nice work Steve. Would it be possible to show current
temp/alt/time on the unlock screen instead of the logo, or is there a
reason there's no information there?

Interesting idea! Yeah, the lock screen could easily show current conditions or whatever else is configured on the home screen, instead of a static logo.
