Title: QA Analyst
Location: Richardson (Dallas), TX
Duration: 06 Months Contract
Requirements:
Expertise using Hudson continuous integration tool.
Expertise using HTTP Unit for test automation
Expertise building scripts on Selenium.
3-5 years of SQA testing, including data-centric web applications.
Strong understanding of QA processes and methodologies
Experience with full Software Development Lifecycle (concept to deployment)
Expertise in Mercury/HP test suite.
Expert using Microsoft Office tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.
Expert using Microsoft Project and collaboration tools like Lotus Notes, Team rooms, Wiki etc.
Automated testing tool expertise required
Responsibilities:
Develops and maintains a detailed project schedule, which includes administrative tasks and all sites involved in the project.
Maintain calendars and meeting schedules for the entire team
Coordinate meetings and prepare meeting minutes and presentation materials. Convert minutes to actions and track assignments. Ensure adherence to deadlines.
File all project documents (hard and soft copies) in repository. Compile summary documents, e.g. Product Development Plan, management Summary and Target Product Profile. Collect and include contributions of the Team.
Take input from the business analysts and project team to develop and maintain detailed schedule.
Evaluating requirements for testing new or modified products and documentation prior to production releases.
Designing, developing, creating, and executing test plans and cases based on software requirements and technical understanding of product architecture
Executing various system, performance, integration, and ad-hoc tests according to approved test plans and testing schedule
Troubleshoot in conjunction with end users and development teams, on issues of reproducing, investigating and debugging software
Generating defect reports for issues found during testing, and providing accurate testing status to project stakeholders
Focusing on project quality issues, but also makes contributions beyond immediate assignments
Possessing broad overall knowledge of business applications; working independently; managing multiple testing projects concurrently.
Works independently, accurately and timely.
