Position: Senior QA Engineer
Location : Boston MA
Duration : 6+ months
LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY

 

Job responsibilities include: 
Structured comprehensive functional & user experience test design & execution. 
Collaboration with engineering and product managers in the creation of comprehensive test plans. 
Regression testing & bug writing 
Define, measure and report on coverage metrics and test objectives. 
Coordinating end-to-end testing with various cross-functional and cross-vertical teams 
Test environment maintenance and support

 

The ideal candidate is a voracious consumer of mobile products and mobile technology and must work well both on a team, and on your own. We require a candidate who can constantly bring the latest testing technologies to the team and can independently overcome and troubleshoot technical issues.

 

Qualifications: 
6+ years of experience in quality assurance with a solid knowledge of payments industry with focus on mobile app testing. 
2+ years of experience with mobile application testing & debugging on iOS or Android 
Proficient with Unix/SQL queries/Oracle DB 
Proficient in, at least, one of these scripting language Javascript/Ruby/Perl/Python 
Experience working in Agile environment is a must 
Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
Ability to work in a fast paced "start up" like environment a must 
Ability to work independently across multiple time zones 
Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) and mobile automation frameworks (Frank, Calabash, UIAutomation and Cucumber) would be a plus. Experience in payment industry would be a plus.
