Title: Front end web developer
Location : San Jose, CA
Duration : 6+ months

 

Responsibilities: 
Write high-quality, high-performance, maintainable front-end code in Javascript, CSS and Html 
Work closely with Product and UX to design responsive, mobile-first, single page JavaScript applications 
Implement new features, optimize existing ones and rapidly fix bugs from controller-level to UI 
Participate in design and code reviews; identify best practices for front-end engineering 
Test your own code using TDD techniques where possible, both unit and functional

 

Requirements: 
7+ years of experience building web applications 
Expert knowledge of JavaScript and Mobile Web technologies 
Strong experience with JavaScript MVC libraries, such as Backbone, Angular, or Ember 
Experience with consuming REST APIs and service-based architectures. 
Disciplined approach to testing and quality assurance 
Strong communication skills; attention to detail and discipline 
BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
