My Imac crashed and the Apple tech replaced my hard drive. I got
upgraded to Snow Leopard from Leopard. I have Drobo with DroboShare
that i have been using for my backups for last year plus. Initially
when i connected to Drobo i could see my back-ups as late as last week
but today all my back-ups for last 12 monrhs seem to have gone
missing.

I am extremely concerned. Can someone please help me? Thanks

Did you try and connect your drobo directly to your Mac and mount your
backup sparsebundle directly?

I'm sorry to hear about your loss. Without more information about you setup, I don't think we can help you. You don't even mention if you are using BMFU or what version or what you did with your new setup or if there is anything in the console logs... etc... give us a bit of a lead here.

at the risk of sounding naive - i did locate the sparsebundle under
drobo and it mounts as well. But how do i restore the data. i can see
the backupdb folder as well. Am i missing a step. (i am not a computer
savvy person....)

sounding more hopeful now!!!
