This is using a freshly compiled netatalk 2.1.3.

I've just uploaded the netatalk.tgz folder for now. Just rename your existing folder and put this into place. Then restart your Drobo.

Please test it out and let me know how it goes. I'm doing a backup right now myself.

TM backup works..

If i mount the drobo dir through "drobocapsule" I get an error when
writing to it.

"The operation can’t be completed because an unexpected error occurred
(error code -50)."

If i eject it and mount it via smb, everything works.

What suggestions have you tried from the website?

I deleted the .apple files, that seem to have cured the problem.

Thanks,

Hi,

Does the new version of Netatalk address the file deletion issue? It's
the only thing that's preventing me from using Backupmyfruit again,
and I'm getting fed up of having my Drobo plugged into my Airport
Extreme, would rather go back to using the Droboshare.

Thanks,

Jon Stevens

It addresses the bug in netatalk that was in 2.1.2.
