bad news. it seems that i've bricked my droboshare. this happened once before during testing/development when i end up having to reboot it a bunch of times. all i did was reboot the thing. it should have come back up, but it hasn't. at the time, datarobotics sent me a new one as a result. i will try to contact them on monday and see if i can get another one, but i'm not too hopeful.

if i can't get another DS, then i'll release what i have with warnings... as far as i can tell, it works, it just doesn't report the right amount of disk usage.

sorry, wish i had better news.

Sorry to hear that Jon.  Good luck with the replacement droboshare.  Perhaps someone reading this may have a spare??

Sorry to hear. It happened to me as well, previously. The DS has j-tag headers, but I did not consider it fast enough to spend the time saving.

Drobo is hanging off the back of a hacked verbatim mediashare now :-/
Obviously the dashboard no longer works, but the lights Are good enough for status.

Pogoplugs are another cheap option. Same architecture at least.
