Leon Leszek Szkutnik: A Polish Master of English
Leon Leszek Szkutnik (1926-2010) was a Polish linguist, translator, and teacher of English. Biography
Szkutnik was born in Warsaw, Poland, on June 6, 1926. He studied English philology at the University of Warsaw, where he graduated in 1950. He was a member of the Polish Association of Applied Linguistics and the Polish Association of Translators.
Szkutnik died in Warsaw on December 18, 2010, at the age of 84. He was buried at the Powązki Cemetery in Warsaw.
