Biography

Szkutnik was born in Warsaw, Poland, on June 6, 1926. He studied English philology at the University of Warsaw, where he graduated in 1950. He worked as a translator and editor for various publishing houses, and also taught English at various schools and institutions. He was a member of the Polish Association of Applied Linguistics and the Polish Association of Translators.

Szkutnik died in Warsaw on December 18, 2010, at the age of 84. He was buried at the Powązki Cemetery in Warsaw.

Works
