Thisremote LCD reader can be wired to most any brand industry standard encoder output meter. Tapping on the gold target sends a signal to the meter to display the current reading. The meter reading displays for 10 seconds, then the meter serial number displays for 10 seconds, then it goes blank until tapped again. This display can be used with most 3-wired encoded output meters using AWWA protocol UI-1203 (Sensus Protocol)

Inexpensive and reliable, the T210 remote counter is a cost effective solution to meter reading access problems. The T210 is installed in a location easily accessed by the meter reader. Connected to the water meter pulse output by wire, the T210 accumulates pulses from the water meter and stores the reading.

The new innov8 universal register from Transparent Technologies can add years of service to existing water meters while extending low flow accuracy beyond new meter specifications. The register can be installed on most brands of water meters and by eliminating the magnetic drag in typical encoded register designs, brings water meters back to life. The register includes the company's M2 two-way AMR radio that monitors and stores 32,000 data points in intervals as low as 1 minute. The register installs in minutes, without special calibration or the need to shut off the customer.

The system employs data loggers placed on main valves that sample the sound waves generated by leaks. The data is automatically sent to the utility over the Aclara STAR Network. Push the button on the register and the secondary LCD dial resets to zero, no wires, no external power source, and this meter is priced right, about 50% of the others. Available in size from 1/2" to 2". LCD reads in single gallons (tens of gallons on the 1 /2" and 2") and has a small dial (nonresettable) that reads in 2/100 of a gallon for precise measurement.
