Consuming SOAP Service using Backbone-Marionette Application

Hello All, 

We are trying to implement as application in Backbone-Mariontte Js which will consume a SOAP web service.

As Backbone Js is written for REST-Ful services, Can we please drive us towards the preferred approach to consume a SOAP Service in a backbone application,

Any information/samples towards this requirement will be a great help.
