Is it possible to use multiple editors in a field?

I want to create a field with a select menu and a number field (for example, "Recur on the 1st Friday of every 3 months", where "1st" and "Friday" are select menus and "3" is a number field.) Is this possible? Currently I am using templates to achieve something close to what I want, but using the model itself would make a lot more sense.

Check out the DateTime editor - that is an example of an editor (Date) embedded in another editor
