Hello,

I'm currently attempting to upgrade a large Backbone application from version 0.9.2 to version 1.0.0. In this upgrade process, I am also attempting to upgrade Backbone-forms to version 0.9.12 (as it explicitly states Backbone 1.0.0 compatibility). However, upgrading Backbone-forms is proving to be difficult due to the removal of things like renderFieldset, Form.helpers, and the way templates are handled.

I would like to do this upgrade in two stages for my time and sanity -- Backbone 0.9.2 to Backbone 1.0.0 first and then upgrade Backbone-forms to 0.12 (or master).

With this in mind, is Backbone-forms 0.10 compatible with Backbone-1.0.0? Our frontend tests and integration tests show that they appear compatible for the code we have, but I wanted to get an official word before attempting to move forward with Backbone 1.0.0 and Backbone-forms 0.10. Any insight is appreciated.

Thank you,
Nick

My actual suggestion is to bite the bullet and to get on Backbone 1.1.0 and Backbone-Forms master (not 0.12) all at once.

This was the change from 0.9.2 to 0.9.10 and I don't know of any specific relevant differences between backbone 0.9.10 and 1.1.0 that would affect anything, but can't be sure.

If you modify the bbf test suite to have your backbone version and everything passes then I'd say its fine :)
