Should i use SDK or Rest API (any difference?)

Hi, im planning to use Back4app on a new Flutter application, but my main preference is to use the rest API.

Is there any diference or problem in not to use the SDK to interact with the API? 

I know that if i want to use notifications and etc, i will need to use the sdk.

No, there's no problem to use REST API operations for that rather than an SDK. You can also use GraphQL instead.
