Job Details

LGB Regional Institute of Mental Health (LGBRIMH) invites applications for recruitment of Senior Resident, Junior Resident, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor in Tezpur. Last date for application is 31st August 2015.

Walk-in Interview will be held on 31st August 2015 at 9:30 AM at LGB Regional Institute of Mental Health, Tezpur, Assam

1. Senior Resident (Psychiatry /Neurology/Radiologist/Pathology)

   Educational Qualification: Candidate should have passed (i) MBBS degree and (ii) PG Degree or Diploma in concerned discipline from a recognized Institution/University/MCI. (iii) Registration under MCI or State Council.

   Pay Scale: Rs.15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs.6600/-

   Age Limit: 35 Years

2. Junior Resident

   Educational Qualification: Candidate should have passed (i) MBBS degree from any MCI recognrzed Institute. (ii) Registration under MCI or State Council. DPM candidates may also appear in the interview for Junior Resident

   Pay Scale: Rs.15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs.5400/-

   Age Limit: 30 Years

3. Associate Professor and Assistant Professor

   Educational Qualification: Candidate should have passed (i) A recognized medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956' Holders of educational qualifications included in Part-II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section (13) of the Indian Medical Council Act,1956 (ii) Post-graduate degree in the concerned specialty mentioned in Section-A of the Schedule VI or equivalent.

   Experience: Essential Experience for Associate Professor Psychiatry: 5 year as Tutor /Demonstrator /Senior Resident /Register f Lecturer after the requisite PG qualification out of which 2 years as Assistant Professor in psychiatry. Essential Experience for Assistant Professor of Psychiatry: 3 year as Tutor /Demonstrator Senior Resident /Register f Lecturer after the requisite PG qualification.

   Pay Scale: Rs. 40000-50000/- Per Month

   Age Limit: As Per Rules.
