You have most likely heard- and read' in many reviews and advice
groups that if a egg does not hatch on the 21th day to throw it away.
I disagree' Some say that if you allow a late chick to hatch then
their future off sping will also be late hatching. I love animals
and to think that some people would kill a chick just because they are
late hatchers bothers me greatly.
I never sale late hatchers unless I put them on a sale and explain
they are such' and I never mix a late hatcher with a timely breed' But
some times a chick will have a hard time hatching and needs a little
help....that chick wonts out ' but can't get out. so this message all
for the love of my little pets of breeds.....is saying don't kill the
late chick...allow it to be hatched.
Late hatching chicks..still lay eggs for the family ' and as I do not
eat chicken for the ones who do...well you can take it from there' But
allow those chicks to live at least the expected life that is due them
for the effort of being alive. Mike
