to Back Yard Farming
Many back yard farmers often start out very excited about the hatching
of their first chicks..or the chicks they have ordered. We tend to get
attached to our little guys and gals. Then suddenly...they began to
die....often new farmers don't know what to do, so here are some
points to save your chickens from spreading infections to your other
chickens.

Things to watch for: When you notice one or more of your chickens
staying on the ground a lot and drooping their heads inactive..watch
out. The chicken is in a dying stage that may take 3-4 days to die.
This chicken is infected and it will spread to you other flocks.
Cure: Corid' this medication is designed for a baby calf' the local
vet will not give you the corid..why' because it is a sure cure for
chickens. it would hurt the poultry booming sales to those who sale
slow infection med's. Corid can be given one cap per gallon for one
week...and the eggs can't be eat for thirty days. Corid can be bought
with out problems through....foys pigeon farm off the INTERNET. Once
the medication is introduced into the chickens system..results began
to pay off.

Never bring new chickens to your old flock..keep new chickens by them
selves for three weeks. You must rake out the chicken pens every
other day..keep them with clean water..a good diet grain...and above
all else...keep the pen clean..this will cause your chickens to remain
healthy if you follow these directions. Infections will attack the air
waves of the chick and slowly kill it. Fight Infection ' Corid.
