Rumour has it that the schrs rating for the Aclass is about to be raised to 1.150, this follows the recent Tiger Trophy meeting at RSC where current national champion Phil Neal and several others were soundly beaten by Lasers, Scorpions, Enterprise, a Wayfarer, a Snickers wrapper and some driftwood, I welcome the change and hope others push for it as well !!!!!

HaHa!  Note to self - Never enter a pursuit race on a fast boat  in a dropping wind!!

And we missed you too!

lol
I do enjoy the idea behind the pursuit race, it is fun catching and passing so many boats, but yes the handicap system is a lottery when dealing with mother nature ! still... hope you had fun while I was at work Sad smile

I'd love to do one in a building breeze, it would scare them stiff!!

This is the problem with SCHRS, formula based! If you as a class were following RYA PN’s ‘voodoo based’ ratings system the tiger trophy event coupled with your class return would put you somewhere between the Laser and the Enterprise! What’s more alarming is that the RYA would accept it (much like they do for Sprint 15s Shh..)..
