Hi Everyone,

Free shelving units of lots of different dimension are available – you just need to come and transport them yourself  😊

The Robert S. Peabody Institute of Archaeology (Phillips Academy, Andover) recently completed a building update that required a collections move.  Now that items are moving into their new improved homes, we have LOTS of shelving that needs a new home.

Shelving ready to go right now (unassembled):

  • 42.5” wide x 30.5” deep x 60” tall, grate style shelves – 2 of these
  • 48” wide x 36” deep x 96” tall, powder coated steel – 3 of these
  • 48.5” wide x 24” deep x 85” tall, powder coated steel – 1 of these
  • 12’ wide x 12” deep x 93” tall, powder coated steel – 2 of these
    • Large 3-in-1 units with large footprint but divided into three smaller units by vertical supports

Shelving to be available in the next couple months:

  • 48” wide x 24” deep x 96” high, powder coated steel – 4 of these
  • 48.5” wide x 24.5” deep x 85.5” tall, steel shelving – 1 of these
  • 42.5” wide x 30.5” deep x 60” tall, grate style shelves – 3 of these
  • A large amount of metro shelving

There are more that are one-off on sizes, so please let me know if you want more information.  I also have some photos for reference.

I will happily give these away on a first come, first served basis and will reserve units for you as they become available as well.  I would love if what is currently available could find a new home in the next couple weeks.
