Can anyone recommend a paintings conservator in the area? The media is egg tempera.

Thanks,
Sarah

Tim Neill is wonderful. He's based in Hamilton.

Lisa Mehlin is also great. Based in Essex

Both have done restorations for our museum.

Hi Beth,

For this I highly recommend Gianfranco Pocobene. He was our Chief of Paintings Conservation at the Gardner for many years and is in private practice.

This is his info:

All best,

Amanda
