祷告事项 3-31-2008

心里有许多沉甸甸的事，需要祷告。 也要想一想要感恩的地方。
以下是我的祷告事项。 请大家记念。也请大家分享需要祷告的事情。

1. BABYROOM HELPERS： 由于孩子小，事情多， 准时到BABYROOM 当HELPER 不容易。 有时也会忘记。 请大家为这件
事祷告。 使我们能靠主的力量不沮丧，不中止参加聚会， 也因我们的服事，送给弟兄姐妹一份礼物， 让他们能参加聚会。我们自己想办法找时间去补听信
息。 即使偶尔失败，也不放弃。 也让我们用祷告彼此扶持， 使我们能得胜有余。

2. 我的表妹，和我同岁， 她的儿子， 优优（10岁）刚刚被诊断白血病，全家陷入恐惧和悲哀。 他们还不信主。 我很久没有和他们联系了， 也不知
道该如何帮助他们。

3. 最近我有些 depression。

记下了。 刚刚说要为小朋友们祷告，可祷告的事情就来了。Johnny 昨天晚上半夜突然发烧， 今天早上起来喂了点儿Tylenol。穿好衣服又吐了
一身。 不知道是不是stomach flu.目前阿姨在家看他。爸爸妈妈仍然上班。请姐妹在祷告中纪念。

update on Johnny: still have fever, won't eat anything but a little
milk. Looks like his throat is suffering, since every 30 min or so, he
would try to cough and then cry. doctor said it is some kind of virus,
and offer no remedy except some cream to ease the throat pain. please
continue to pray.

I’ll pray for you. Especially for Feng and the recovery for all the
kids.
Susanna was recovered from the pneumonia then got another flu, her
temperature is normal now, praise the Lord!
Yujin said the milk would generate more mucus and it is better not to
offer milk when coughing.

Just prayed for Feng, Susanna, Johnny and Jasmine. Cried out to the Lord asking for His mercy, healing and guidance so that we may be strong both spiritually and physically.

 

May He keep us all strong.

Update on Johnny and sharing -

Dear sisters in Christ and our precious little prayer warriors,

Thank you so much for your prayers and love, our Lord is listening and
your prayers are being answered. I went home at around 5:00pm
yesterday and found Johnny no longer had fever, but still won't eat
much, likely due to pains in the mouth, tongue and throat. As I said
earlier, the doctor said it was a virus and he could do nothing but
wait for it to pass. However, our Jesus is the biggest doctor and he
is curing Johnny somehow in some way. Baby was also more spritited
than the day before, although still not as active as he usually is. He
fell sleep more easily than last night, but after an hr or so, woke up
crying suddenly and could not be comforted. When I was holding him, he
wanted nanny; when he was in nanny's arms, he wanted me. This lasted
for about 20 min with him won't stop crying. Finally, he calmed down a
little bit in my arms and I began to sing "Jesus love you" to him.
Then it came to me that this is not only a medical situation, but also
a spiritual war. He was disturbed somehow in the dream. So I started
praying for peace in his spirit and asked the Lord to guard our boy
from the eveil one during his sleep; then I went on to praise the Lord
for what He has done and what he is going to do on Johnny. Soon
after, Johnny was deep alseep. He woke up a couple of times later and
I just praised the Lord each time when he was stirred, he fell back to
sleep almost immediately. This morning, he was good enough to play
with me and had some steamed pear with Chuan Bei (川贝).

Glad to hear that Johnny is getting better. Below is an update on Jasmine. We need each other's support through prayers.

 

I had to take Jasmine to see her Doctor twice earlier this week trying to find out the reason why she had been having the fever. After her tempreture finally went down to normally the night before, she started to have rash all over her body and face. So I had to take her to her Doctor again this afternoon. Thank the Lord that both the fever and the rash were caused by virus, and only monocite was found elevated in her blood test while everything else was ok. The Doctor expects her rash be gone in a couple of more days.

 

Let's remember each other and our little ones in our prayers.

不知道Jasmine和其它病宝宝及妈妈们昨晚睡的好不好。Johnny had some trouble falling alseep
then I used the praise & prayer "weapon" again, he was doing pretty
well. Still have sore throat, hope he is good enough to go to
tonight's fellowship. Let's continue to pray for healing for the
little ones, strength, patience and love for moms.

Thanks, Johnny mom. We had a pretty good sleep last night as Jasmine only woke up once at dawm. Yet the night before was very hard for her as during the day I made her to throw away her dear pacifier into the trash can downstaires because she had been over-using it. She woke up several times and cried badly wanting to have a pacifier. Thanks the Lord she is getting use to sleep without a pacifier pretty quick.

 

Thanks for all your prayers and her rash is going away soon, and she started to eat like a horse last night. :-)

Glad to hear that she is getting better and eating like a horse :-)
Because of his mouse pain, Johnny did not rely on his pacifier much
this week. Hopefully he can get rid of it this time as a bonus :-)
