Dear NYCIST & NYCISTk6 communities,
We are pleased to share that registration is open for 20th annual Robo-Expo NYC.
The inaugural Robo-Expo was held at The Nightingale-Bamford School in 2005, founded by a group of independent school computer teachers with students from 11 local schools participating. You can view archival photos from that first gathering here: https://robo-expo.org/images/photos2005.htm
The expo remains a space for students of all ages to share their work through sensor-based autonomous challenges and an Exhibit Hall for original robotic builds. The event is platform-agnostic; students may use any robotic kit or coding language.
The 2026 Challenges:
A.I. Challenges
"On the Spot" Drawbot Challenge: Students will code their solution live at the event.
