Hello!

I have a group of lower grade students building a spirograph with the Lego We Do 2 kit. So far we have watched and paused videos for inspiration and direction. The students are stuck on one part due to the videos not showing certain angles.

Does anyone know of a step by step instruction set for a We Do 2 spirograph juuuust in case they get stuck. They are so close!

Thanks!
Diana

I have done many of the projects with WeDo 2.0 and next week plan to have kids start to work on the unguided projects.

The spirograph looks cool but haven't tried it yet. Let me know if you figure it out.

Would be great to have a session at Mohonk on robotics and WeDo 2.0

Thank you, Maureen!!!

It has been incredible watching the students look for small details in the video and figure it all out on their own. We're down to the last gears the camera angles don't show. We've been using this video guided by a young Russian girl. She's all business and it's awesome.

I won't be at NEIT this year, I'm headed down to Educon that weekend. It's just too much back to back. Enjoy and sorry to miss the wonderful conversations, hiking and connections.

Best,
Diana

This project sounds wonderful and I can't wait to try it with my students! That Russian girl is a formidable presence.
We're hoping to have a Nycistk6 meeting in February, so Diana, it would be wonderful if you could make it or send a video of your children making the spirograph.
Since it was one of my favorite toys, I actually have a collection of non-robotic spirographs.
All the best and thanks for your inspiration,
Judith
