Good Choice for the Price Point

The Summer Clear Sight Digital Color Monitor is really a good choice for the price point. The best features about this product are that the screen colors are vibrant and clear (including the infra-red technology), the battery life lasts for hours even when unplugged, and it has the ability to accommodate additional cameras so in the future (when we have more children) we wont have to purchase a whole new system but can just add on to this one. I also appreciated how clear the two-way talk-back is. When in the nursery and my husband is speaking to me, I can hear his voice clearly and crisply which assures me baby can hear the same. The whole thing is easy to install and easy to use.
The few disadvantages I found to the product is that the screen size is small. It's still clearly visible, but being accustomed to the world of hand-held devices and the screen sizes of smart phones, it feels slightly smaller than it could be. Also, the camera angle isn't terribly wide and
doesn't cover much viewing area other than the crib and it does not have an auto-rotate feature to move the camera around other than doing so manually. So if you're looking for something to watch ongoing play-time or other room activity, you may not achieve that with this device.
Overall, it's a good choice for the price point and accomplishes the goal of keeping an eye on baby with confidence.

I have had this monitor for a couple weeks now. It works fine. Sound is good and picture is clear. although there is a little white noise coming from the monitor and you have to move the camera manually. For the price point I would say it is ok. As I have been looking at other monitors I have found automatic camera's for the same price. This should be priced at 99.00

Exceptional Qaulity, perfect for every need!

As a parent of two young children, we have gone through quite a few monitors always looking for the best solution. It appears technology finally caught up with this product category.
Packaging and build quality was excellent, Instructions are very clear and setup should last no more than a few minutes. The unit itself establishes and maintains a very strong wireless signal, Sound quality was exceptional in all instances and we experienced no interference from our extensive wireless network or microwave. The two-way capability is a real plus in the middle of the night if the "first responder" needs assistance from the parent who has stayed in bed. It is also useful when the child is older; the parent is able to tell the child something without having to play the sleep-delaying game of "mommy/daddy, I need you". Love the color screen and the handheld unit so you can see you baby at anytime! Very exceptional quality and highly recommended!
