Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to lead high-impact retail technology initiatives for Lululemon. This role focuses on the core of the retail experience: Point of Sale (POS), Payment Gateways, and complex System Integrations. You will act as the vital link between business stakeholders and engineering teams, translating global retail requirements into technical specifications. The ideal candidate brings a deep understanding of the retail ecosystem, specifically with Oracle Xstore, and has a proven track record of managing payment processor integrations and API-driven data flows in an Agile environment.
Technical Core & Responsibilities
Retail POS & Payments (Core Domain)
- POS Architecture: Lead requirements gathering for Oracle Xstore (preferred) or similar enterprise POS systems, focusing on store operations and checkout efficiency.
- Payment Integration: Design and document gateway/processor integration logic, ensuring secure and seamless transaction flows.
- Retail Ecosystem: Maintain a holistic view of how POS interacts with downstream systems like inventory management and e-commerce platforms.
Systems Analysis & Integration
- API & Data Flow: Analyze and document complex system integrations, including RESTful APIs, file-based exchanges, and SaaS platform connectivity.
- Technical Documentation: Use Jira and Confluence to create detailed functional requirements, process maps, and technical specifications.
- Data Analysis: Utilize SQL and Excel to analyze data sets, validate integration mapping, and support defect management.
Agile Delivery & Testing
- Stakeholder Liaison: Collaborate with cross-functional business and engineering squads to drive alignment on technical solutions.
- UAT & Quality: Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), manage defect lifecycles, and oversee post-release system improvements.
- Agile Participation: Drive progress within the Scrum framework, participating in sprint ceremonies and backlog refinement.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 8+ years as a BA/BSA in enterprise IT environments.
- Domain Expertise: Mandatory experience in Retail POS systems and Payment Gateway/Processor integrations.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL, API documentation, and workflow analysis.
- Tools: Expert user of Jira and Confluence for requirement traceability.
- Methodology: Deep experience in Agile/Scrum delivery models.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with AWS Cloud architecture and cloud-native retail systems.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated monitoring.
- Experience in large-scale, global enterprise retail environments.
