Role Summary
We are seeking a Lead Glean AI Agent Architect to design, architect, and lead the development of enterprise grade AI agents across Glean and Slack platforms. This role will drive the strategy, architecture, and implementation of AI powered agents that automate and orchestrate complex enterprise workflows across IT, HR, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain domains. The candidate will provide technical leadership, define standards, and work closely with business and platform stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the architecture and development of AI agents using Glean and Slack platforms.
Design and implement multi step reasoning agents using LLMs, RAG, tool calling, and workflow orchestration.
Build and standardize a reusable enterprise AI agent framework and boilerplate.
Own end to end solution design including security, governance, observability, and scalability.
Integrate AI agents with enterprise systems such as ServiceNow, Salesforce, Jira, and Workday.
Define best practices, coding standards, and architectural patterns for AI agent development.
Lead code reviews, technical design sessions, and architecture governance.
Work closely with business stakeholders to convert enterprise workflows into AI driven automation.
Mentor and guide junior and mid level engineers.
Ensure enterprise grade compliance, logging, auditability, and performance.
Technical Skills and Experience
The candidate must have 12 plus years of overall IT experience in software engineering, platform engineering, or automation.
The candidate must have at least 5 plus years of experience with Python development.
The candidate must have at least 4 plus years of experience with Node.js or TypeScript.
The candidate must have at least 4 plus years of experience working with Salesforce or similar enterprise SaaS platforms.
Strong hands on experience building Glean AI agents including conversational flows, RAG, tool calling, and task automation is required.
Strong hands on experience building Slack agents using Bolt, workflows, events, functions, and APIs is required.
Hands on experience with LLM frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or similar frameworks is required.
Strong experience with RAG architectures, prompt engineering, and multi step reasoning agents is required.
Strong experience integrating with enterprise platforms such as ServiceNow, Salesforce, Jira, and Workday is required.
Strong understanding of enterprise security, role based access control, governance, audit logging, and observability is required.
Nice to Have
Experience leading AI or platform modernization initiatives.
Experience defining enterprise AI governance frameworks.
Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Prior experience in Architect, Lead Engineer, or Staff Engineer roles.
