Has anyone set up a Babbleboice account on a Sony Xperia. There is a SIP account option and asks for Username, Password and server

Hi,
Have you tried setting it up?
The username and password will be from the device setup and the server name to use would be %yourdomain%.babblevoice.com.
With regards to sip port's, if the phone uses DNS SRV it'll be 9997, if it uses NAPTR then set to 0.

Sorry, missed your response.

Username, password and server set up as you suggested.

It also offers Optional settings:

Outbound Proxy address (says optional)
Port Number (defaults to 5060)
Transport Type (defaults to UDP)
Send keep-alive (defaults to Automatic)

Hi JJ,

It is worth trying with those all set to default, if you still have no luck then try setting the port option to 9997.

If that still isn't registering correctly it might be worth putting your domain name into the outbound proxy field.

Are there any logs in relation to the sip account on the phone?

Kind Regards,
Jay
