sub : Call for contributions from all baalm members associated with the initiative

Dear Baalm members

 

Good evening and good after noon  - we all have been associated with this great initiative and the purpose of this initiative as we all know is to adopt , support and provide education to needy children of India  through the upcoming school located in Deharadun.( especially children affected by floods in Uttarkashi).

 

Also my apologies that though I am a baton holder of resource mobilisation committee , I have not been able to know , communicate and interact with you one to one and I hope going forward  as a group , ( being part of  a initiative which we are proud of  ) we are able to interact and know each other better.

 

I guess many of us have never wondered that while we are spending time with  this initiative and supporting it , discussing about it and providing logistical support who are the people who are providing financial support to it. Unfortunately we have not thought and to be honest most of the financial support is being provided by founder members from their salary and savings , you would appreciate this is not a sustainable model. Also as our activities expand ( we have now 45 children to support ) we need funds for kitchen expenses , infrastructure and various other activities.

 

with this mail I am requesting all of you to come forward and commit some little financial commitment , which can be Rs 100/500/1000/2000/5000  or any thing but regularly on a monthly basis. Four members have already committed  Rs 2000  per month but that is just not enough.

 

We also plan to approach people outside the  Baalm network but that is only possible once we can demonstrate that we the people who are associated with this have commitment.  I will request every one to send a mail on this network so that other too are encouraged and make a commitment.

 

One can deposit a cheque or do a RTGS/NIFT in the account of Baalm as under

there is nothing wrong in what I have said.  I have transferred the money which was  received in account in 2 hrs in the way I have suggested. giving account number and IFSC code is more than enough.
