forwarding a proposal for aquaponics at sabka ghar... lets discuss ... should we go for it ? .... when and at what scale ?? can we cut down the costs proposed ??? can we ensure the output????... can the output be earlier ????? ...

dear Sumeet, i was under the impression that the vegetables output of 500 Kg per month will be realized in 3 months and 100 kg fish per month ...  in 8 months

As for your question on the output; no we cannot cut short the time.  The system has to stabilize, the fish have to mature and a balance needs to be reached for it to achieve full productivity.  Most of it is a natural process similar to a life cycle which cannot be changed.

 

As for ensuring the output, yes once the system reaches full productivity this output can be ensured and even increased.
