Some of us will have been to Elsinor for Dyalog'12 where there will be more presentations on the stuff demonstrated in August.
And we have Stephen's offer to talk about Semantic arrays.
Free WiFi and a large screen we can attach to.

A lively discussion about "modern" interfaces on phones, tablets and PCs.
Dick showed us an example of "data binding" using XAML to bind a Dyalog APL variable to a GUI such that user changes to the GUI were reflected directly in the array.
It seems that not everybody in the world has seem "A plea for simplicity - Ed's Hardware Store" by John Scholes so here it is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qSVR4Z3DA24
