Tahoe trip, June 21-22

Hey, all,

Anyone up for heading up to Tahoe June 21-22?  Chris and I are going to head up and do a 3-pitch, but other than that there should be plenty of time for hanging out and climbing whole bunches of routes.  Let me know if you're interested, so we can make sure we've got a good leader/non-leader ratio.  We'll start out on Lover's leap Saturday, then hit Phantom Spires Sunday.  There's free camping close to Phantom Spires we can bum around in when we're not climbing. :)

Hey Graeme,

I'm interested in going.  I've lead in the gym, but not outdoors, so I haven't placed quickdraws before.  Also, I don't know how to set anchors, so I'm not useful for setting up TRs.  I do have a rope though, so I can bring that to the table at least.  :)

Callie and I are planning on making the trek, perhaps bringing a non-climber as well.

I've got a crash pad, no ropes though.

Hi Graeme,

We've met at Mindy's place and at Planet Granite in the past. John
and Ryan mentioned this trip, and I and my wife Gina are interested in
coming, if there's room. We'd probably come up in Ryan's car.

Gina and I have taken the lead class (but didn't test) and the anchor
class, although it has been 6 months and we've never used those skills
in the real world yet. We also don't have a rope or anchoring gear.
If you need people to have that stuff, let me know, otherwise we're up
for coming climbing and camping out.

Gina does 5.10a and 5.10b at Planet Granite, and I do perhaps up to
5.11a there, as well as bouldering. Neither of us has outside top-
roping experience.
