Team,

Can we answer this little survey individually and then combine them and hand them into Sarah as one big collective stack?  I'm planning to meet with her anyway to discuss the possible Board of Directors meeting, it would be nice to be go over our insights from the class as well at that time.

Of course, if you have privacy concerns and don't want to do it as a group… THAT'S COOL TOO!

peace out!

Everyone,

ISS is interested in highlighting your project in their on-line blog.  It will cover your observations of working on the project, materials management, and working @ the ecodistrict level.

Below are questions they would like observation responses. Would it be possible for you to reply to these questions with your personal observations? It is completely voluntary, but I think it will give you a platform to discuss the project in a wider forum, not just the class itself.

Also, they would like to use the CLEAN framework graphic you developed as part of the blog.  Can one of you send me a pdf or jpg of the graphic that you created when you respond to the questions? Thanks.

BELOW ARE THE QUESTIONS THAT THEY WOULD LIKE YOU TO RESPOND TO. THEY DO NOT HAVE TO BE LONG RESPONSES, NOR DO YOU HAVE TO RESPOND TO ALL OF THEM.  YOUR CHOICE ON ALL QUESTIONS, JUST LET ME KNOW WHAT QUESTIONS YOU ARE RESPONDING TO.

1. What was your understanding of materials management and the concept of an EcoDistrict prior to the class?
2. What did you learn about the feasibility of operational and behavioral change in a large organization?
3. What were the biggest challenges in developing the business cases for the strategies identified by the class?
4. What are the challenges and opportunities inherent in working within the scale of an EcoDistrict?
5. If you could sum up your work this term with a one-sentence lesson learned, what would it be?

Just email your responses back to me.

Thank you,

bill jones
