The cryoprobe on the 900 has been installed and is working smoothly.

I have put some samples of spectra collected on the spectrometer on
the Bay Area
900 website. The spectra include 3D TROSY-HNCA, TROSY-HNCACB,
and TROSY-HNCOCA spectra on two kinases that are over 30 kDa in size,
as well as several 3D 13C - edited NOESY spectra, and an HCCH-TOCSY
spectrum.
These data can be viewed by going to the website home page and clicking
on
"Sample Data."

The home page is at:

Please review your projects and consider asking for time. Presently,
there are no recharge costs associated with using the instrument. To
request
time, e-mail me (Jeff Pelton) at jgpe...@lbl.gov. To check on
available dates
please check the usage calendar at:

http://www.calendarwiz.com/bayarea900

You might also be interested in a few of the nmrPipe processing macros
and other "hard core"
information on the website. To access this information, click on
"User info" from the home page
and then 900Nuts&Bolts.

Finally, the instrument is scheduled to move to Stanley Hall at UC
Berkeley in mid-April.

Have a happy and productive New Year!

Jeff
