Cynthia McKinney*s coming to my hometown today, hurray! (I've already
posted separately her schedule for northern California this weekend of
October 4 - 6 in the Year of the Pig.)

Do I type up my greeting to her, then perhaps 'twill be possible to
give the hard copy unto her very own hands or, at least, those of her
trusted helpers.
So, hello there, Cynthia! Are you willing to consider the two topics
of jobs & ghosts?
First things first. There's the White Man's House, which we'd like to
colorize, right? The Greenies are talking about running you for Prez
and you're listening to them. Will you please be so kind as to
entertain a friendly amendment?
Hoping for the best, then let's duly thank the Green Party for
bringing you to town (did they?) and next promptly forget'um , pray
consider it only as fixings for the stew. So far they have otherwise
quite failed to distinguish themselves either in terms of raw numbers
or by bold stands on the great issues of the day. The GP's seven or
whatever umpteen "Values" = only so much pap in the face of that
certain Regime in Washington which has murdered millions and which
threatens our whole Planet.
Now to the first hump: Are you going to run a national campaign which
will penetrate to the heart of our people and convince us that you
indeed mean to win rather than merely to pound sand? I mean win like
Mao Zedong won in China,
Ho Chi Minh won in Vietnam, Fidel Castro won in Cuba,
Nelson Mandela won in South Africa, Hugo Chavez won in Venezuela and
Evo Morales in Bolivia and Rafael Correa in Ecuador. As opposed to
pounding sand like Medea Benjamin.
I put to you that if you were simply to accept the GP's nomination
for Prez, then everyone would know that you're just a defeated
congressman traveling around the country making the seasonal
ceremonial gestures for the mini-left. Everyone would be surprised if
you got over 5% of the vote and astounded if 'twere over 10%.
How about this maneuver instead? To wit, you assume the leadership of
a new organization dedicated to drafting John Grisham for the top
slot. The lapel pin could read "DRAGMAK?" for "DRAft Grisham &
McKinney". To nominate your own bad self for VP would be acceptably
modest, considering the historical cracks about the office.
Furthermore, you could teach history and rib on the
square at the same time: (Pointing to Candidate Grisham) "You know,
folks, they shot down Abe Lincoln & old McKinley & Huey P. Long & Jack
& Robert & Malcolm & Martin & Carl Hampton & Diana & Paul Wellstone &
a whole mess of other heroes, too. That's why I wanted to put
Mississippi John here out front as the bullet-catcher. Heaven forbid
that anything bad like that should happen to him, too, but if it does
then now I'm the TAR-baby, as in T.A.R. -- "There And Ready". Then you
give a big grin and you can give a big grin, see?
That's how to turn the baggage of the defeat in Georgia's 4th
Congressional District into the pedestal to the Oval Office, 'cause
when you play the Grisham card as your ticket leader, you will have
trumped anything the Kabal can put against him. We do have the chance
to catch'em reaching really low down in the barrel.
In order to make sense of this proposal one must have read Grisham's
novel THE BRETHREN (2000) and also his follow-up THE BROKER (2005).
The first predicted the 9/11 stunt and named the players; the second
explained to the discerning reader why Grisham laid low for 5 years
after the first one was published and thereafter immediately
implemented by the plot poachers of the GWOT. John Grisham has proved
to millions of readers that, as the saying goes, he knows where the
bodies are buried. We catch him & slap on the harness, folks is gonna
know we got something going on. The buzz will roar.
We also want to get Uncle Ralph Nader's blessing for this move.

Ron Paul raising the slogan of "Justice for Akaber Zaid!"
So will you dare to utter the words of honor and justice? Preferably
as the VP candidate on the Grisham ticket and meanwhile as Chairman of
DRAGMAC?
'Cause otherwise you'd be giving the baby-killers a free pass, right?
Are you for real or are you Condoleeza-lite? Speaking of buttons, how
about "JAZ" ?
There's lots more to say on this topic of taking over the world but
the thought of your visit levitated me out of bed in the way wee hours
this morning when the waning half moon was still rising low in the
black Eastern sky. I'll add here two further suggestions: First, that
John and you should announce your intention to appoint Mumia Abu-Jamal
to the Supreme Court. Second, the
greatest living American historian, Michael Collins Piper, is
scheduled to speak at the 'No More Wars For Israel' Conference October
12-14 in Orange County. With the right caption, a photo of you & MCP
together could help to change history. (He solved the Kennedy
assassination with the publication of his book FINAL JUDGMENT in
1994.) Now I want to nap out and then see if there's time to swim in
the Bay & still check you out at the Oaktown library this evening.
