Music Festival Food Vendors?

Hi! I have been charged with looking for new/addt'l food vendors for the SF
Free Folk Festival. We're in June, we're entirely grass-roots, it's free,
it's a labor of love. We're all-volunteer, and we haven't done this problem
before. Purely as a favor, can you point me towards any vendors or towards
anyone who might have a word of advice about food vendors? Festival location
is Clement & Arguello.

I have work at many festivals over many years including Bonnaroo as a food vendor. It is very complex in that you must first create a menu, then base your operation off the menu. You must comply with all regulations and licensing in this development. After that major hurdle has been accomplished you must have experience in drawing crowds to your booth, and meeting the high volume demands of such crowds. This is truly obtained through experience. In the menu process consider what people want to eat at festivals and how they will eat it easily. I am currently in New Mexico working on a business plan focus festival food vending. I have worked all over the country for a festival food vendor now I am trying to create my own and it is very difficult to accomplish. I wish the best of luck to you and hope this was helpful.
