much passion and power in his singing and playing that you can't help but

The House Band is one of the most imaginative and creative groups in Celtic
music today. This quartet covers Irish, Scottish, Breton, Balkan,
Scandinavian and many more traditions on a bewildering array of
instruments. Those who have seen them live say that it was almost a
religious experience. Don't miss it.

423-1336. Laura Kemp is a great singer-songwriter from Eugene, Oregon and
she'll have her brand new solo CD with her. One of the band members is TR
Kelley, one of the BABES WITH AXES, another band that Laura is involved
with. Her songs are some of the best there is in the "new folk" genre.
I'm afraid I don't know much about Colobo but I would go for Laura Kemp.

for her hilarious and poignant live shows. She writes some really great
songs and has been known to "channel" various personalities from the stage.
The best kept secret though is that she is a very accomplished guitar
player and is very impressive to watch.

Greg Brown is one of the masters of entertainment as many of you seem to
know with this almost sold-out show. Dee Carstensen is worth seeing too,
she plays electric harp! (and I don't mean the harmonica)

member of the band Arcady. He has two fantastic solo albums out now and he
is a champion flute, whistle and bodhran player. He will be accompanied by
a great band.
PATTY BLACK is none other than the mother of Michael, Martin, Shay, Frances
and Mary Black, all very accomplished musicians. Patty was a noted singer
in Dublin before she quit to raise her family and is now performing again.
This will be her U.S. concert debut.
