Singer-Songwriter Jamie Purnell will perform live at Angelicas in Redwood City on June 15, 2013 at 7 PM. Jamie is celebrating his first performance in the Bay Area. The concert will be held at Angelicas in the heart of historic Redwood City. Angelicas is one of the Peninsula’s enduring hubs for creative local, regional, and national live music. Jamie Purnell, a 10-year veteran of the songwriter scene, has recently relocated from North Carolina. Jamie’s music transcends folk to blend country, blues, and pop-rock into a heady brew he calls, “acoustic music with heart”. “The Right Time”, from his second release WHIPPOORWILL, was an Honorable Mention in American Songwriter Magazine, and he was a finalist in the North Carolina Songwriter’s Co-op Songwriting Contest. Jamie has shared stages with many well-known acts such as Brendan James and Kristen Hall (of Sugarland).
