this incredible band opening for the Church last night in Palo Alto, and
was truely blown away.........Any info would be great....

Ghost Like Sun has been around since I booked them at the first House Of
Usher years and years ago - Back then, I found them to be one of the
tightest bands around in the gothic / dark alternative scene.
I heard from Ed a while back they've released their own CD - Never heard
it though but I'm sure it's amazing.

They described themselves as "...a unique blend of male/female vocals
combined with textural guitar and driving percussion. The band mixes rock and
ambient styles to deliver shimmering audible dreams." Mick Mercer supposedly
said they resemble "a psychedelic Dead Can Dance".
