The Internet Underground Music Archive.
IUMA is the first hi-fi free music archive on the Internet and in the
past year + we've seen enourmous response and growth as more bands and
listeners discover what we're about and how we can help them get the
exposure they deserve. We've also seen the emergence of an entirely new
"business arena" and various copies of IUMA are scattered about, though
none have the breadth and pure volume of music.
We currently have music online from nearly 400 indie/unsigned bands
and have online presences for 15 labels ranging from cool somewhat
unknown ones like Ionic Entertainment to cool indies like TeenBeat,
Bedazzled, and Silent, and some of the larger beasts like Warner Bros.
Records and Geffen/DGC.
Our average daily raw file accesses are running about 130,000 for
our SGI server at our main HQ site in Santa Cruz, CA. We also have
mirrors in North Carolina and London, England and may be expanding
to a Thailand and/or Japan mirror, thanx to some kind folks out there :}

the label artists. You can search for "LABELS" in this article to
jump to the label section if you choose, though you'll be missing a lot
