Responsibilities:
• Design and architect new functionality using J2EE technologies.
• Provide guidance, leadership and mentoring to the developers.
• Follow company software development processes and standards.
• Ensure proper configuration across all environments
• Participate in conference calls with customer to review requirements
and proposed design.
• Conduct walk through for various artifacts
• Have in-depth system knowledge (end to end) and act as a SME for the
entire life cycle of the project

Qualifications:
• Education - Minimum 4 Yr Degree – B.Tech / B.E / MCA / M.Tech or
equivalent
• 8-12 years of experience in design & development of n-tier web based
applications using Java/J2EE technologies.
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Rich experience in J2EE Design & Architecture, UML, OOAD, Design
Patterns, EJB, Struts, Web Services, Weblogic App Server, Oracle
Database
• NFR & Security handling
• Sun Certified Enterprise Architect would be preferred
• Stays current with rapidly changing technology and applies it to
business needs.
• Knowledge of Telecom retail will be huge advantage.

Technical Skills:

• Experience of Java, JSP, J2EE 1.4.2 +, EJB, JDBC, JNDI,
• Excellent knowledge of SOA & SCA
• Excellent knowledge in design patterns
• Good in OO designing.
• Hard core working experience using Struts Framework, Jakarta Tiles
framework, Hibernate, Spring Framework and Web logic is a must.
• Eclipse 3.0+, Solaris 9+
• Oracle 9i/10g database, DB Schema Design, TOAD 8.6+ or similar,
• HTML, CSS, XML, Javascript, AJAX, SOAP
• BEA Weblogic Server 8.1+
• UML diagrams
• Rational ClearCase, Rational ClearQuest
• Webservices
