Sr. Database Developer/Analyst
Database Analyst/Programmer will be responsible for: • Develop,
document and participate in the technical implementation of portions
of the database architecture. • Collaborate with software architects,
business analysts and clients to understand client and industry needs
and regulatory requirements. • Provide designs that ensure overall
system scalability, security, performance, reliability and
maintainability. • Create, enhance and enforce database development
standards. • Investigate and recommend database development and
analysis tools.
• Report status to Product and Operations Managers in accordance with
Project plans and Development roadmaps. • Provide support and training
to the development staff. • Create toolsets for use by the application
and by third party products such as Crystal Reports. • Manage In-house
development and QA servers including the installation of updates and
patches. • Provide level 3 triage support escalation for Client Help
Desk and Implementation DBAs. • BS degree in Computer Science or
Software Engineering. • Skilled in Microsoft tools and technologies
SQL Server 2005/2008, Transact SQL language, Multi-tier COM+
applications, clustered servers, Reporting Services, and Integration
Services. • 7+ years of Microsoft SQL database development and
administration experience. • Proven skills in database design (logical
to physical), implementation, normalization, referential integrity and
performance tuning. • Experience with SSRS and other reporting tools
for use with Data Warehousing purposes. * 7+ years experience with
Transact SQL language experience. • Microsoft certification (MCDBA) a
plus. • Demonstrated ability to work well with individuals having a
full spectrum of technical knowledge. • Excellent communications
skills with clients in-house and off shore staff. • Ability to meet
deadlines, work efficiently and independently while maintaining high
quality standards. • Experience in Healthcare Information systems,
specifically medical billing applications a plus.
