Seeking a part-time teacher aide to join our dynamic staff and loving children.
The successful candidate will:
Assist the staff in the supervision, protection, and care of the students.
Participate in developmentally-appropriate activities and field trips that provide opportunities for learning, exploration, and growth.
Meet the emotional needs of the students by supporting them during times of conflict, injury, and transition.
Adhere to KinderHaus policies when working with the children.
Engage in constructive communication with the Lead Teacher .
Relate to and communicate well with parents, children, and staff.
Work between 20-30 hours a week, depending on staffing decisions.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
18 years of age
Fließende Deutsch-Kenntnisse
Completion of six Early Childhood Education (ECE or equivalent) units OR current enrollment in ECE classes with commitment to complete at least 6 units.
Experience as a teacher in an educational setting with children under the age of five.
First Aid and CPR training (may be obtained prior to hire).
