Role: Performance engineer
Duration: 6-9 months
Pay Rate: 50/hr. on C2C.
Location: Bentonville, AR

Note: This is Performance engineer role, pls don’t submit Performance Tester.

Skill Requirement :

• Understand, Articulate and Communicate System NFR / SLA based on different Technology platforms/solutions.
• Minimal understanding of QA/QE/Agile concepts, test case management, defect management etc.
• Understand System’s Tech Architecture, and should be able to identify different layers of tech solution based on a design discussion or architecture document.
• Medium level proficiency in at least 1 programming language (C, Java, C#, Python).
• Medium level proficiency in SQL and familiarity with Relational and/or NoSQL Database platform.
• At least 2 years of End-to-End Performance Testing experience using mainstream Performance Test tool.
• Basic understanding of Web service architecture, REST , SOAP, HTTP/HTML.
• Basic understanding of HW architecture, measuring units, acronyms, Virtualization concepts, Middleware technologies.
• Familiar with at least one Monitoring and/or profiling tool

Optional or Good to have skills :

• Working experience on HP ALM and/or Jira.
• Working experience performance testing Client-Server Application.
• Working experience on open source performance test tool (for example JMeter).
• Medium level of proficiency in Unix shell scripting.
• Basic understanding of cloud computing and performance measurement on cloud deployed apps.
• Familiar with UI performance/profiling tools/Mobility testing platform
