Google Inc., an early stage startup located in Menlo Park,
is developing the next generation of Internet search technology.
Successful applicant will be an extremely responsible individual with
excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. The
fast-paced nature of our office environment requires that you are able
to take initiative, prioritize and multi-task, "manage up," cope well
with constant change, and work well as a team player. Excellent oral
and written communications skills is a must. Enthusiasm, willingness
to learn, and a sense of humor are also key.
Applicants should have general computer skills and a minimum of two
years previous experience in an administrative and/or office
o Human Resource/Benefit Administration: New hire orientation,
benefit enrollment, payroll administration
o Coordinate office move
o Event planning: holiday parties, company events
o General administrative functions: phones, faxing, filing,
purchasing, business cards, stationary, office supplies,
o Set up interviews for potential new hires
o Web site management and maintenance
o Accounts payable and receivable
o Basic customer support
