Description:
The company is developing layer 3/4 switching hardware and software. The
software is focusing on LAN (Ethernet and ATM). The right engineer with
have a strong LAN background with some WAN concepts. The work is done in a
real time environment, strong VxWorks would be ideal. Very solid C and C++
programming would also be required. Previous router/switch experience would
be the best fit. An understanding of RIP, OSPF, BGP4, etc. would also be
very important for a strong match. If you have worked in these areas before
and want to continue with the next generation, this 6-9 month + contract is
for you. There are multiple contract openings available depending on
experience. The group needs engineers with as little as 2 years of
experience up through very senior people with 6-10 years or more.
