Our company is a fabless semiconductor manufacturer, whose mission
is to provide complete end-to-end silicon solutions for the
Gigabit Ethernet Intranet Market. The Company’s product plans
include providing Application Specific Standard Products (ASSPs),
S/W drivers, Firmware and Reference Designs, at significant
price/performance advantage and reduced time to market, for
its customers. The Company’s initial products consist of Open-Bus
Media Access Controller (MAC), to allow proprietary Gigabit
Up-link Switch solutions and PCI Bus MAC for Gigabit Client/Server
solutions.

Required Credentials: BSEE; MSEE preferred.
Skills Required:

Five to seven years direct experience defining, architectural
designing, and debugging board-level system designs in the networking
and data communications industries; hands-on knowledge of state-of-the-art
board and PCB design tools and methods. Direct experience with
FPGA and HDL programming; command of logic design principles,
state machines, and software/hardware partitioning tradeoffs
a must; team player, strong written and oral communications
skills; highly motivated to work in a fast-paced start-up environment.
Responsibilities:

Participate in all phases of systems hardware development of
all evaluation, demo, and application platforms for our high-speed
networking silicon solutions. Drive activities including design,
schematic capture layout, fabrication, assembly and testing
of PCB designs. Collaborate with software and architecture groups
to identify proper partitioning and software tools required
for systems collateral.
Work with the IC design team to tune timing specifications
for our products. Work with marketing and applications teams
to generate performance specifications in data sheet collateral
and application notes. Help customers when they have hardware
design related questions and timing issues beyond the scope
of first-line technical support personnel.
Restrictions:
Due to Time Constraints, Locals and Permanent Residents only
Full Time candidates only. No contractors or Job Hoppers (1.5 yrs
or more at each position). Locals given Preference.
