REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires the knowledge and skills normally acquired
through the successful completion of a BSEE and/or a strong electronics
background and 1-4 years of product safety and/or EMC experience. Other
requirements include a knowledge of UL, CSA, IEC and emissions/immunity
requirement. Be computer literate. Have an understanding of
manufacturing processes. Be able to demonstrate communication,
organization and engineering skills. May consider an Entry Level BSEE.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
You will be responsible for reviewing designs to make sure these
products comply with instrument regulations. Conduct inspections and
audits, working closely with regulatory agencies. Document and analyze
compliance data. Be involved with product safety functions including
working with manufacturing and R&D representatives to determine the
requirements for implementing and monitoring regulations.
